Hi and welcome to my new blog.

About me

I'm sure some of you have heard of me, most probably haven't. I'm a software/web developer and Umbraco enthusiast from Bristol, UK. I primarily enjoy working with C# and .NET and spend a lot of my time extending and experimenting with Umbraco. If anything I produce is useful then I release it to the Umbraco Community. I also have a keen interest in outdoors, caving and cider.

Why am I starting a blog?

I am starting a blog so that I can talk about things I have learned and am learning as time goes on. I will be discussing my thoughts on any particular open source projects, closed source projects and tools I come across that I feel is worth sharing.

What to expect?

Well this will be completely dynamic on a daily basis. It comes down to the following factors:

  • I am experimenting with Umbraco often, so I will share what I am working on
  • I keep a close eye on GitHub Trending for C#, so expect some articles about that
  • I release Umbraco projects, so I will be sharing information and tutorials on how to use it

So thank you for visiting my first article. Expect a lot of rambling!
